“It was a really good way to get our name known and pick up new business”
Lisa Somerton of Bletchley-based accountants Jenner & Co explains why they started using Sure2Door as a one-off, but have stayed ever since and now run monthly campaigns.
Lisa's firm had been sending out mailshots for a few years but was frustrated with the low response rates. They hit on the idea of targeting business owners directly at their homes through a leaflet drop in 2013 and have never looked back.

“Leaflet distribution was something we'd been thinking about doing for a while – we'd been sending direct mail out to businesses for quite a few years and hadn't really had a lot of success with that. We got the odd response but not a great deal.
“We were thinking that all of the businesses have got a business owner living in Milton Keynes, so we decided to target these people at their homes.
“I filled in some details on your website, then Shelley rang me and was so friendly on the phone that I arranged a meeting and we took it from there.”
“Our first campaign was a one-off to see how it went, and we picked up a client from that first job. They were a good client and their fees for the year would cover ongoing deliveries, and so we decided to carry on because it was so successful the first time.
“We run a campaign monthly but change the areas each month, although we do repeat areas as it's about getting people at the right time, when they need an accountant.
“I think our campaigns have got our name into peoples' minds each month, as we're covering a lot of homes in Milton Keynes.”
